TeraHive System Configurations

The TeraHive Energy Suite always consists of a battery cabinet and at least one hybrid inverter.  To enable whole home backup, a Smart Switch must also be installed.

Below you’ll find the recommend layout of equipment on the wall, including spacing and order.

System Configuration :

Grid Tied

1. Car Charger
2. Meter Main Combo
3. Inverter
4. Battery Cabinet (Battery Module(s) and PDU)
5. Cable Tray
6. Edge controller (IPC)

Suggested distance between Inverter and battery/Meter Main is no less than 8”

Include manual best practices when doing the layout along with measurements between each item and maximum and minimum height to be installed per the manual.

Partial Home

1. Car Charger
2. Meter Main Combo
3. Outdoor/Indoor Circuit Breaker Enclosure
4. Inverter
5. Battery Cabinet (Battery Module(s) and PDU)
6. Cable Tray
7. Edge controller (IPC)
Suggested distance between Inverter and battery/sub panel is 8”
